VHs have played for: 100 days
For 100 days, complete strangers network to play as Virtual Housemates (VHs) and to form a small community online. BigBad Kuya (BBK) monitors VHs' activities, online journals, Friendster accounts, blogs, personal websites etc. VHs and BBK communicate mainly through the Internet. All information and matters discussed during the game can be used in the game. Posted in this blog, the game's Virtual House (vHouse) are VHs' activities. Anyone can visit vHouse. Readers/visitors may leave comments on the VHs and on the game however VHs cannot reply on them, discuss the issues among themselves or justify their actions in the blog. The nomination process evicts people from the vHouse.

UNBELIEVABLE! -PBBFG3 Big Winner

(Note: Maghanda kayo, dahil isa itong nobela!)

Really, unbelievable. Hindi ako makapaniwala na ako ang magwawagi! Everybody is betting on Gee. Kahit ako, si Gee din ang gustong manalo. Pero since, masyadong matalino ang mga tao ngayon, kaya ako ang nanalo. Isang malaking aksidente.

Matagal kong pinangarap na makasali sa PBBFG, season 1 palang, nasusubaybayan ko na ito, hanggang sa nakita ko ang post ni BBK sa ABS-CBN Forums na open na ang applications for PBBFG Season 3. I tried, hindi naman ako umaasa na makukuha ako dito. Pero siguro, due to some accidental luck, nakuha ako ni BBK!

Madami talagang nangyari sa virtual house. Madami akong nakilalang mga tao sa bahay, puro sa chat nga lang at sa blog. Sana magkita-kita kaming 13! Sayang, hndi kami nagkaroon ng pagkakataong magkita kita sa totoong buhay!

During the start of the game, I was asking myself, sino-sino kaya ang makakasama ko? Maging close kaya kami? Puro kapamilya kaya sila? (jowk lang!) Matanggap kaya nila ako? At madami pang iba! At syempre, the actual day na pumasok kami, parang wow! Mababait naman pala sila, masayang kausap, pero syempre, merong paring konting pagka-ilang sa mga ka-VH ko!

ON THE ALLAINCE: Yung alliance namin ni Benj at Gee, biglaan lang nangyari yun, Benj asked me to join an alliance, and then, I've invited Gee to join us. There was a point na minsan nakasama din naming si Jinelle, but that was unofficially. At syempre, nandyan din ang informal alliance ni Gee at Rex! Kung hindi na-evict si Jin, siguro siya ang nakapasok sa Big 4, and not me! But anyway, nandyan na eh! Tapos na ang game!

ON THE ACTIVITIES: Medyo boring ang activities, at may mga suspension pa! Parang may kulang sa excitement. Pero I enjoyed kapag merong mga activities, like the PBB Game Ka Na Ba?, at yung mga reward challenge na may tatlong rounds,

ON THE IMMUNITY: Napag-usapan namin ni Gee na gamitin ang immunity sa 2nd to the last nomination, para makasigurado sa big 4. At obvious naman na hindi sumunod si Gee sa napag-usapan. Akala ko, after the votes was revealed, makakaroon ng malaking usapan about my use of immunity, well, as far as I know, wala naming nangyaring ganun. Pero malay ko, at feeling ko, I need to justify why I used my immunity.

I've used my immunity, kasi hindi ko panaman iyon nagamit at saying lang din kung hndi ko gagamitin. And besides, I am pretty confident na walang boboto sa akin sa nomination na iyon.

ON THE LAST VOTE: It was such a surprise to everybody that I had the lowest vote in the last nomination, which determined who will be the Big Winner. Everybody is rooting for Gee to be the Big Winner, kasama na ako dun! But then, the surprise vote was that of Benj's. Instead of voting for Gee, he voted for me, which became the deciding vote. I expected that Rex would vote the same way that I do. Gee, would of course, do the toss up between me and Benj.

Well, obviously, bumoto si Benj sa pag-iisip na siya ang makakakuha ng least votes, dahil sa contradicting votes na mangyayari between the the other three. But sadly and surprisingly, it didn't worked out.

When I first read the last vote, parang tumatalon ang puso ko palabas sa aking dibdib, dahil sa sobrang gulat at kaba! Iniisip ko, bakit ako, bakit ganun, bakit hndi si Gee? Madaming tanong, madaming bkit!

TO MY CO-VH:
Ate Ann, salamat sa lahat ng time na na-spend natin sa chat. At ang Adobo natin, hndi ko pa natatapos, ano ba yan! Pero salamat sa lahat! Alam kong ikaw ang ibinoto ko sa last nomination, but that was purely strategical vote.

Kuya Ben, kahit isang lingo ka lang sa bahay, salamat dahil at least once, nakapag-usap tayo sa conference chat. Hmmmm…. Sana lang makapag-usap pa din tayo!

Cathe, isang beses lang ang ating pag-uusap, at yun ay dahil sa activity 1. At kahit hindi talaga tayo magkakilala on the personal level, you gave me your consent to know something about you. And for that I thank you!

Daryll, sayang, kasi hndi man lang kita naka-usap, mukhang ok ka pa naman! Good Luck!

Emjheiy, the No. 1 GEENELLE fan, I think, hndi rin yata tayo nakapag-usap, except sa conference chats ni BBK, pero I know that you are a good person! Good Luck!

Ate Jamilla, ang hindi ko makalimutan sa iyo, ate ay ang iyong webcam na shinare mo sa akin at kay Gee. That was so good for you! At yung pagiging caring mo sa amin sa mga chats at mga activities natin. But unfortunately, siguro ate, yung iyong plead for us not to vote you have changed the game play. Pero thank you for everything!

Jinelle, saying, you could end up to be the 4th member of our alliance, if you had just got through that nomination and eviction. Salamat sa mga pag-uusap, at sana matuloy yung balak natin na makagimik naman tayo sa mga bars ng sama-sama! (but I think we can still do it – You, me and Gee, if Benj and other co-VH wants to go, edi sama din sila!)

Kashen, one of the most beautiful VH ever played sa PBBFG, sayang, kasi hndi tayo nakapag-usap sa chat or thru messages!

Kristin, unang natanggal dahil sa inactivity, I think she didn't had the time and leisure that the game requires.

Macky! Thank you for continuously saving me, until you exited! You stupid! Bakit ka umalis? We should be friends by now! But hey! Thank you very much! Its was such a disappointment for us!

Ron, hmm, again, hndi rin tayo nakapag-usap except sa conference call ni BBK! But thanks!

Wow, ngayon ko lang nalaman na halos lahat pala ay hndi ko pala naka-usap, o madalang kong kausapin, except kay Gee na "super friend" ng lahat!

NOW FOR MY CO-BIG FOUR:
Benj, first of all, salamat sa iyong tiwala, at ako ang iyong nilapitan sa pagtatayo ng isang alliance dito. Sorry, dahil hndi ikaw ang aking ibinoto as the Big Winner, dahil iyon sa mas ginusto mong maging Big Winner, kesa sa magkaroon ng mga bagong kaibigan. You said "I didnt build friendships with anyone but I made sure that Gee and Charles would be close", and that's how you loose the game ball.

Rex, sorry dahil nagkabanggaan tayo sa last week natin, salamat sa pagpapatawad mo sa aking mga sinabi against you, at salamat dahil hindi mo ako binigyan ng +2 evicting points. Sana magkaroon tayo ng pagakakataon na magkapag-kita, o kaya naman, mas mabuti pa, kung magkakaroon tayo ng pagkakataong magkita sa totoong mundo.

Gee, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN YOU! Pero thank you pa din sa time, trust, friendship, and fun that we have shared. I would just make this small, because I know that words can't say it all. Again, THANK YOU!

Thank you dahil pinili mo akong maglaro. I hope that this wouldn't be my last post sa VHouse, but not for the next season!

LESSON LEARNED:
Everybody has potentials; everybody has something that the others do not have. It was just how you play the game and use your potentials to the maximum. In that way, they can have the game ball, control the game the way you wanted it.

Gee's Final Words

Aw! Sadness... BBK already locked our diaries... *sigh. Well, it's over... It's really over! I can't believe that I'm currently typing my last words for PBBFG3. As I've said before, we'll all gonna leave the virtual house.

Let's start with the final vote...

I am this season's runner up, and I'm fine with it. I've seen posts and I've received messages from ex-VH of this season and other seasons congratulating me in advance. I've seen the will of my co-bigfour (especially Benj, haha!) to be the big winner. As I've posted in my diary, I did picture two results of the final vote, having those words above as bases... FIRST: It's ME, bagging the evicting points ( pure stragey ), THEN: Me vs. Benj... with our 2 remaining co-bigfour as Big Winner and Runner up. For that, I've already set my mind not to expect for gold. And shockingly, none of my predictions happened. Well, it's more like the 2nd one, the Me vs. Benj thing but the difference is, I'm the Runner up. haha! Can I call it a consolation? It can be! hehe...

The final vote was the most exciting peak of this season for me. Because for the first time, there's no ALLIANCE ( I hope, hehe). And the results? Haha! Nakakatuwa siya! The only non-up student made it! And Benj, he ranked 4th, lolz! Kuya Rex, out of nowhere ranked higher than him. Wow! I'm really happy for Charles, he deserves it!

I've received that message from bbk and obviously, I've neglected it at first because I really didn't understand that he was inviting me for a fantasy game. I even didn't know what a fantasy game is. haha...It took me days to check the blog (season2's ) and I found it interesting (especially the thought of I will be seeing my self in that banner.. ASTIG! lolz!)... So, I replied...

Haha... and then, I've received this message from the 1st season's big winner:
"welcome aboard and it's nice to see that we are indeed growing to be a big happy "virtual" family...=P"

... and JOMAR, ang Messenger ni Kuya, he sent me the requirements... I've passed it to him and BOOM! I'm an official Virtual housemate...

Enough of histories! Well, for the game proper, because this is the first virtual game I've ever joined, I really didn't expect that I will be one of the most active VH. Promise! I was really surprised to see a VH who even didn't pass a single profile. The first task basically was to meet your co-VH. The very first Vh who approached me was Ate Ann. And then numerous of unknown ym ids appeared and even friendster invites. VH pala sila. Wow! I was like " Oooh.. I'm beginning to like this game". As far as I remember Benj was the second VH I've talked to. And then it was Kuya Rex (haha, in our first conversation, tinuruan niya akong kung paano pumunta ng GMA. MRT lang pala yun! haha!). And then it was Charles, who immediately made a proposal to join in their alliance. I was like " sasali lang ako kung sasali si benj".. Eh si Benj pala may pakana nun! So, ayun, wala na akong kawala... Lolz!

I also met Vhs from other seasons namely Jen-jen (nakausap ko na sa fone to! hehe), Jomar, Rommel, Paolo Miguel ( thanx ulit sa header! hehe). Some i got to know through ym conference c/o bbk ( Ate trish, Ate Mats, and Marge).

I enjoyed our first special task (50 facts). And seeing the results was very disappointing. 3 lang kaming nag-pass! Even the first activity (the survey thing) it was incomplete. And the first eviction, it was really disappointing. Half lang ata ang bumoto. I really saw their lack of interest sa game but amazingly, hindi ako nahawa sa kanila. Haha...So, after realizing that, I've got a feeling that I can be on the top if and only if I'll continue to do my thing.

I've chosen MISS DEVIOUS SMILE to be my nick. Why? Uhm, I may be one of the friendliest VH here but this girl behind the names of KRYSTALALICIOUS, PARINYA, MR. UNIVERSE, YUMMY GRILLZ, HOSEAL GAYMAN, NARCOLEPTIC, REJECTED and CORPS COMMANDER SUCCK can prove that there is still a room for sarcasm in her.

I don't know but the scenario was kinda different for me. According to my co-VH, I was friendly. Yup, I became friendly ( because in real life, I'm really not). But I can't help it, those peepz are wonderful. There was a point that my day cannot be completed without having ym chats with them. Their blogs are as wonderful as them. I learned how to blog because of them.

I think because of the idea of adding spice in the vhouse, the so-called LOVETEAMS occured! Haha. I think it started because of the poll that I made ( the cutest male vh ). And then, Ehmjheiy asked me :"Sino ba yung crush mo, si Jinelle or Macky? ", I said it was Jinelle because i found him cute next to Macky ( nabadtrip kasi ako kay Macky nun, ako daw ung MOST LIKELY TO QUIT VH niya). And BOOM! I forgot kung paano nalaman ni BBK iyon, and EHMJHEIY said "Sige, gagawan ko kayo nang issue'( I can't remember if inutusan ko ba siya or what). And that was how GEENELLE ROCKS started. THEN, while we are in the middle of a RECORD BREAKING CONFERENCE (nung bagyo!) nabuo naman ang REHMJHEIY RULEZ (Rex and Emjheiy) nangdahil sa pagpili ni BBK kay MJ para kay Kuya Rex ( yiheee...)...

Speaking of Jin and Rex, I saw them in person nah. Kuya Rex, lagi kong nadadaanan sa tambayan nila. Jin, hehe Jollibee recto? Hahaha!

Unexpected moments? Marami kami niyan! Lolz. First eviction pa lang! haha... Jinelle supposed to be the first evictee, but BBK was bad in math that time ( siya nagsabi nun! hehe). Charles told me about it and I had the guts to tell it to BBK ( sa tingin niyo, bakit? hehe). And then, it's Daryll! Muntik na si Jin... Haha! Next, the BEN issue. The most irritating issue for me. Why? Aside from the fact that our alliance didn't worked, I really find it unfair. Hay naku, tama nah! hehe... And lastly, Ate Ann's eviction. Hayyy,,, i can't accept the fact that she sacrificed her points...

Who can forget the Benj-Kashen war? That kept him inside Vhouse para daw hindi boring. And the Benj-Trish war? hehe... Si benj talaga mahilig sa War, even sa final eviction...May BENJ-GEE WAR.. haha!

Isa lang ang nag-quit... It was Macky! Then there was BEN as a replacement...

Farewell posts and Appeals were posted. But it was BENJ who only survived. Ehmjheiy and Jam didn't.

Quirks? meron din. I remember our ym conference w/ ate trish and ate mats (epal lang si jin... hehe... joke!). I'll be their succesor pala.

OUR CBOX,,, it was not THAT active. Actually di ko alam kung bakit hindi ako makapag-post dun since the beginning of the game. Anyway, thanks nga po pla sa nag-cheer sakin doon... Kay IAN... hehe, salamat poh! May haters din pala doon. First, yung nagsabing walang kwenta ang mga nag vote kay kashen. And second, yung nagsabing ang BIGFOUR ng season 3 ang pinakawalang kwenta sa lahat. Haha!

There were also times when I felt that ako na lang ang naglalaro sa game. It was the time when I felt like quitting kasi I found the game boring nah. Naramdaman ko na yung boredom na na-feel ni Ron noong bandang una.Naiinis na ako sa game noon kasi nagkaroon na nga ng NO-ACTIVITY week, may week pa na puro blogs lang kami.And there came Kuya Rex para sa kanyang KILUSAN.. MAG MASS-EXIT NA LANG TAYONG MGA ACTIVE. hehe... Muntik na akong sumama doon!

But when Jin and Jam were evicted, the game became more exciting kasi the top6 vh are those who have strong personalities. After invalidating Ron's immunity, the game became more exciting ulit... Because it was the fight for the BIG4 nah.

And after the announcement of BIG4, then came the announcement of our alliance. And then there was the big inquisition: WHO WILL BE THE BIG WINNER?

And it's Charles,the BIG WINNER... and then, this is it! PBBFG3 IS OVER. Shocks, ang bilis pala ng 100 days!

Guyz, I have messages to all of you... ( Plus the unforgettable quotes…. Heheh)

Daryll, Cathe, Macky (first crush! Hehe) , and Tin - tsk! di ko man lang kayo nakausap.. sayang! thanks na rin sa participation niyo.

To tell you honestly, I was really irritated nung binoto mo ako nung 1st eviction sapagkat hindi siya makatarungan. and for that, I always wanted you to get out pero infairness, mahirap kang mapatalsik because you're active! You're one of the VH that I don't like pero I realized that you're nice naman pala. I was just being a dork when I judged you because of the move that you made.

Ron – " It was nothing. You played your game".

Well, I really like you. I think I was just influenced by a MYSTERIOUS vh (masyado na siyang sikat if I'll mention his name pa!) because naiinis siya sayo. Pero I think you're one of the most interesting VH and kung wala, pbbfg3 will be incomplete. I've invalidated your immunity that's why you've been out of this game and I was touched by the things that you've said after. You're such a good sport.

Ben – " Sana, isa sa inyo ni Benj ang manalo! ".

For the short moment that we've shared through ym (hehe), I really found you nice. Considering our age gap, di ko akalaing magiging close kita, kahit sandali lang KUYA.

Voting you out is one of the hardest things I've done here in this season. And sadly, after you've been evicted, I never heard anything from you. Di ko po alam kung nagalit ka ba sakin or busy ka lang talaga. Well, you're one of the VHs here that I'm dying to meet in person. Bonding naman tayo one time. Ate Ann! My ate here in pbbfg3. Una kong nakausap sa VHOUSE. Well mejo nagkaroon kami ng misunderstanding because of my blind item… hehehe. And doon ko napatunayan how cautious she is upon not wanting other peeps to hurt their feelings. She's the nicest person here, she even sacrificed her points kasi she can't vote for us. Well hihintayin kita sa UP! Hehe… Thanx for all ate!

Ano, aamin ka na bah sa EB BABES na yan? Hehe… Well, this guy, I admit naging crush ko din siya, but that was before the EB BABE thing! Haha.. I though he was suplado kasi the first time na nag pm ako sa kanya, deadma lang beauty ko! Hehe… But he's cool naman pala. Akala ko nga maiinis siya kasi ako ung love team niya. Welcome nga pala sa codes and sa testi! Hehe… And nagulat ako kasi makulit pala siya ( at magaling gumawa ng story!). Shyness pa yan nung eb namin… hehe… And actually, natouch ako sa kanya noong group reward challenge kasi nafeel ko yung will niya na makatulong sa amin ni kuya rex. Well, it was fun chatting w/ him through ym. Thanx ah!

Especially your OVERWHELMING words (peace! Haha!). Yup, it's actually overwhelming, with your simple words, hindi mo alam na malaki ang naidudulot nun sa iba. You're actually giving advice without realizing it. You're saying na you're not friendly and you are even projecting that you're someone who's bad but I see different ( paagaw ng line charles ah! hehe…). It's true boy! I wish that GOOD Benj accepts me as his friend. Well, goodluck sa lahat! Nice game! Hahahaha…

And well, I actually risked the vote. You know that first quote above, tumatak yan sa utak ko that's why I had doubts sayo after you've said that and hindi ko alam kung kelan kita pagkakatiwalaan ( sorry...). But you proved me wrong Charles, napatunayan kong you're not really here to win ( di katulad ng IBA jan. Haha! Bitterness?). I thought you'll do benj's strategy. Akala ko pagkakaisahan niyo ko. Haha! Kulang pa yan! If I can only quote all. Sa lahat ng VH, si Kuya Rex yung pinaka-favorite kong ka-chat (and textmate narin!). I don't know why, pero inaabangan ko yan kapag may mga major activities kasi masarap siyang kausap regarding his thoughts about the game. Wala akong chat session with him na hindi ako napapa-smile. His last quote above is his advice to me kung paano pipili sa big four. At hindi ko sinunod yun! Kasi, If I'll rank all the VH, you will be the first. Lahat lahat na yun, closeness, status mo sa game, BLOG (hehe), ewan ko! Maybe wala ka lang masyadong time as of now pero if given a chance siguro, you'll be more deserving than me. Benj's Final Words

Im quite pleased with how the game concluded despite me finishing fourth. I brought something new to the game and Im very proud of that, no matter how retardedly some idiots would interpret it. No one has brought a cerebral element to the game, and hopefully, more people will buy into the strategy. That would be very unlikely though - the TV version is even more retarded than the fantasy version.

I was allies with two people, but other people who I didnt even talk to a lot didnt want me to go. I dont take credit for that, but I think it's nice that I won the respect for certain players - even if it is only in the context of the game.

This would be an interesting all star season. Im guessing everyone is exciting. If I play the same way, I will pretty much be another good guy to take to the final 4. Im sure to not win anyway.

Ive always been critical of how this game was run. The game theory has been flawed. The penalties never make sense. The announcements were erratic and were not standardized. I have high standards and I've hosted a pretty good fantasy game before so I dont really do well with mediocrity.

Gee, Charles and Rex played well, but I played to win. I dont regret anything. This is one of the peculiarities of being Filipino. People really don't stand up for themselves and look for their best interest because society doesn't like go-getters. They'd rather have the humble unassuming ones. I dont criticize them, but Im just not like that.

Idiocy v.2 -Benj

First, let's address the definition of the word cheating.
It's quite simple really.

to violate rules or regulations

It is quite obvious that someone didnt read the RULES AND REGULATIONS for the Fantasy Game because in the page where these rules are to be found, there is obviously NO stipulation banning the plotting of virtual housemates against one another. Under no rule that each housemate was barred from forming alliances. The only thing that was not allowed by BBK was "plotting against BBK". I double checked it with the host and it was told that it was allowed.

Is it that convenient for one to assume that the same rules that apply in the TV show apply in the virtual game? Or is it just that the rules were too eloquently stated by the host to the point that it made someone really retarded have a tough time in understanding the rules and regulations? Pity.

Again, PBBFG obviously has a set of rules different from the real game.

In this regard, it is obvious how stupid ABS CBN has really marketed this show. For some reason, ABS CBN labeled the show as the "teleserye ng totoong buhay", thus removing the chance of the people playing to strategize for their best interest and prolong their stay in the house. Drama or no drama, it is a freaking game and as long as you stay within the rules, you can do whatever the hell you want to do.

The game to me isn't about "pagpapakatotoo"/ showing what you are outside the game... That's just pure BS that ABS CBN uses for marketing. At the end of the day, its a game. And if you want to win, you'll have to do whatever it takes within the rules to get ahead.

We played the game as hard as anyone. Most of the people in the cast didnt really care about it. It would have been a travesty to not have the final 5 people remaining as the final 5. The final 5 were clearly the most active and most engaging people among all those who joined the game.

Clearly, I didn't want to lose. That's why I approached one person (Charles) who in turn approached another person (Gee). It was a simple three-person alliance that didnt really dictate who got evicted.

Why? Because the game was very flawed to begin with. The eviction votes were hardly a factor in deciding the game.

Darryll, Cathe, Ben and a lot of housemates evicted early on were eliminated through penalties.

The first one evicted due to votes was Kashen - and the main reason why she was evicted was because she had already used up her immunity option.

Did I gain the trust of my fellow VHs?

Well, I wont answer that, but since the Final 12, I did not have the benefit of having immunity. As proven by Kashen's eviction, not having immunity sets one up for a sure exit.

The people decided to save me and let me stick around. That's amazing considering my true allies in the game only amount to two - Gee and Charles. And yet I got 7 (yes, seven!) saving votes when there were only 9 players remaining in the game. Insane. In any other game, I knew my number was up. I've played and hosted far better games that this uneventful 100 day game and the moment I let my guard down, I was shown the door.

In this game, I played hard and I won. I even tried last minute deceptive tactics on Ron to waste his immunity during the final 7. That proved to be unnecessary because Ron failed to vote that week.

I joined the game for other reasons. That reason was unfulfilled due largely to the lack of interest in this game. This game was poorly hosted and had close to NO activities at all. The other objective of course was to do well and I did. In social games like this, it doesnt really matter how you do it (as long as it's within the rules).

I dont want to lose and that's how I secured my position in this game. I didnt build friendships with anyone but I made sure that Gee and Charles would be close while Ann (the person who I had the best conversations with in this game) and Rex were unlikely people who would vote for me.

Had I had another chance to play, I would have played dirtier and more villainous than I have this season.

FROM BENJ: What is your favorite activity during the entire game and what would have done differently if you were the host of this fantasy game?

Compare the 4 remaining housemates to any survivor/pbb contestant and justify why you picked them. wehehe.

My favorite activity was the Johari window, because it is something that will be of use to me outside the game. It's good to know other people's perspective of you. Runner-ups would be the 50 things, though i didnt finish it, haha, and the Text Twist, kahit na hindi ko siya nakarir dahil busy ako nun, si GEE tuloy ang pinakanapagod..

If I was the host of this game, i wouldve chosen more active players. i feel, marami sa atin ang naging busy na, especially since the start of the game coincided with the resumption of classes. i wouldve screened players with a condition that they have regular internet access, at kaya nila mag-online at least every other day. kasi nakakainis din yung gumawa ka ng game, tapos boring ang mga players.

Plus, i would more stringent with the rules. there would be regular rewards and punishments, hindi yung kapag nasa mood lang ako. Feeling ko kasi, kung minsan masyado malaki yung points for punishments, nawawalan ng silbi yung evicting points.

FROM CHARLES: MAY STRATEGY KA BA o MAY KA-ALLAINCE KA BA DURING THE GAME?

At the start of the game, i did not plan any strategy. i didn't join to win, i just wanted to have fun.
I wouldn't exactly call it an alliance. I admit, Gee is the one closest to me, and I guess it was advantage. Tsaka nagkataon lang na tuwing eviction ay pareho kami ng gustong i-evict. Ako kasi, inuna kong iboto yung mga hindi active, tapos yung mga least kong ka-close. So there.

I almost did not make it to the Big Four, diba? It was actually okay for me. I was even suprised that I made it through the Big Four due to mere technicality.

Wala naman kasing cash prize dito eh, so hindi ko pinangarap na maging Big Winner. If wanted to be the Big Winner, I wouldve pretended to be nice and close to everyone. But i am not like that. I am not the epitome of friendliness, no matter what you read in my Friendster testimonials, namimili talaga ako ng mga kaibigan. Pero hindi naman ako antipatiko.

First, I want to say thank you for giving me the trust in asking me to be of your alliance. I don’t know if I’m your first choice to form an alliance with, but even though I’m not, it’s still good. Second, I will be asking you this, I don’t know how to word this, but here goes, because I still have doubts in some of your plan. The part that if we are already in the big 4. Now to summarize what I wanted to say:

I specifically remember saying that the proposed alliance was only upto the final 5. I was actually amused that I wasnt voted out earlier in the game. In my opinion, I shouldve went next after Cathe.

This being a game, Im here to win. Its touching to have people saving me left and right, but at the end of the day, Im here to win.

From Gee: Other than being your ka-connivance (hehe), ano pa yung tingin/ turing mo sa akin dito sa Virtual House?

As far as your role in the game is concerned, your role is undeniably huge. You were the bridge that connected a lot of players in the game and I would like to think that you logged in more hours than anyone blogging and talking to each and every virtual housemate in the game.

The biggest loser is someone who has to assume the identity of someone else just to make his/her opinion count.

Gee brought this to my attention and I am now addressing the matter accordingly.

The rules obviously allowed alliances. If the players this season are smart enough to see that loophole, then that's not the players' faults.

Just like any other social game, alliances will be made. It just happened to be OVERT this time. And besides, just how easy do you think it is to get a 3-person team to the final 4? The alliance was soooo obvious from the very beginning and yet we werent voted out.

Translation? The best and most active players in the game were allies. Simple as that.

First of all, I want to correct something… Hehe… I never asked someone to vote for someone… They we’re the one who asked me kung sino yung iboboto ko. So to answer your question,,, hmmm… Sana dineretso mo nalang dude… hehe… I kinda feel naman na pinagdududahan mo yung closeness namin ni Kuya Rex ( if I’m wrong, sorry po!). Haha! Well, paano ba? Allies nga ba kami ni Kuya Rex? In a way, yes. From the start pa lang, napag-uusapan na namin kung sino yung karapat-dapat ma-evict. Kay Daryll pa lang nagkatugma na kami ng reasons. And if you remember the 2nd eviction, that I was proposing to vote Cathe and you’ve voted out Kashen instead kasi hindi tayo nagkaintindihan, kaming dalawa yung bumoto sa kanya. Then after that, we’ve been voting for the same person.

But let me tell you this, I’ve always been loyal to our alliance. I’ve been to the point of wanting to save other peepz like Ehmjheiy, Kashen, Ate Ann and si Kuya Rex din, pero hindi ko magawa kasi may pinag-usapan tayo. Yes, siguro may mga naiirita nung nalaman nila that I’ve joined an alliance. So, does it make me underserving enough? Well, sorry po, but I don’t think so. Maybe kasi, some are comparing the PBB fantasy game doon sa Pinoy Big Brother mismo. Marami silang pag-kakaiba. There are different strategies to be played in every game, and iyon ang strategy na naisip to survive this game. Okay this is a social game, but the word GAME is still there. And you can’t blame us kung bakit naging madali sa amin ito dahil obvious naman na yung mga ( sige na nga, I can’t think of an appropriate word eh) active din ang natira sa bandang huli and yung naging samahan kasi namin is hindi kagaya ng naging relationship ng mga VHs nung past seasons. ** I have two favorite activities. The first one is the 50 INTERESTING facts, and luckily, si Ehmjheiy yung naka-assign sa akin that's why I enjoyed that activity so much! It was really fun doing that task, digging interesting facts about a person you just met. lalo na kung kasing kulit ni MJ... Haha! Pero I think that if the task was as heavy as gathering 10-20 interesting facts about every VH,,, I think it was more challenging and fun... haha!

Then, I really enjoyed the Group Reward Challenge, and again, I think I was so lucky that I got Jin and Kuya Rex. TRIFECTA! Nice word by Kuya Rex! What I like about this activity is when I've somehow experienced CAMARADERIE ( lalo na yung moment na super rush na yung poster, Jin and I really had hard time picking up pix of VH, ang bagal kasi... haha! )... Eventhough we didn't make it, okay lang... hehe...

**Well, if I were the host of this game, siguro I'll really find ways for the VHs to get closer through activities. I've always been fond of deconstructing games like this, so let me give all of you my take on things. I think this game ran on the motor of integrity. All game long, no one was blindsided. Clearly, Kashen was clearly just being a retard when she was surprised to be booted out. She was voted out because she had no immunity left to protect herself with. The only other shocker of an elimination was Ann's. But come to think of it, anyone would have gone that nomination and it would have been labeled a shocker. Ann was simply the most likely to go.

Early into the game, I tried to take control and grab this game by the horns. I opened the idea of an "alliance" without really using that term. I remember telling Gee, Cathe and Charles my idea of voting together in the early goings to make sure that we wont get the shameless distinction of getting evicted first. As the alliance matured, it was clearly set that the alliance was ONLY until the final 5 and it wouldve been just all out war after that.

So going back, it seems that I was the architect in the game that played the political game way earlier that everyone did. Maybe that's the reason why I hate the real PBB show. The show doesn't allow for much strategy - kudos to the celebrities for going around the rule --- and is highly retarded in terms of plotting and conniving. The Fantasy Game allowed this so it was obvious that alliances would be key.

I was the architect who made the layout on how the game was to be run... But ultimately, it was Charles who overlooked the initial phases while Gee supervised the later execution of the plan. Towards the end, my grasp of the game slipped and I was left to the mercy of the other virtual housemates. Had I played against somebody like me, I wouldve eliminated that player in a heartbeat.

I thank the other three people for never voting for me. I think the game truly is a battle of personalities because there are no clear parameters, so hopefully, I would get a good shot out of this.

I am not friendly. I talk a lot, but that doesnt necessarily mean I open up a lot. After 100 days of playing the game, I can't even say anything about the people in here. I didnt "live" in the game the same way other people in the end, and eventhough that might cost me in the end, im just being true to my self.

Im the guy who just stays quiet until people start talking about something that I dig. Im the non-partying quiet guy who likes to scream and growl at the top of his lungs during gigs with his band. Im not sunny, Im not warm and nice - brash, sarcastic and abbrasive is more like it.

Ann's final words

I have been part of a virtual game which like the Pinoy Big Brother Show in kapamilya station. now after staying in the virtual house for 88 days, with my 13 other co-Virtual Housemates, I was finally evicted. i almost made it to the Big Four but my not so serious action in the nomination process had cost me to go. i wish my co-VHs goodluck- gee, benj, charles and rex. gee! it's ok noh, we're in a game and i understood that. rex, u deserved to be there at the big four, i know we're not close but i look forward to meeting you in person. benj, thank you too sa lahat ng advise mo regarding the med thing. charles, good luck too, nice knowing you.

Sa mga chat natin in the past few weeks, my days have not been so boring. you know naman that i just stay at home. sa ngayon doon lang nag-revolve ang buhay. good luck to you all! hope neil will organize the grand eyeball.

First, I want to say thank you for giving me the trust in asking me to be of your alliance. I don’t know if I’m your first choice to form an alliance with, but even though I’m not, it’s still good. Actually, this entry is not related to its title... haha! I just heard that song from BANGLES a while ago... wala lang ang cute kasi! hehe...

Charles blogs: Greatest of all Words

Last night, I watched “Devil Wears Prada”, a good choice, over You are the One, since I got a new point of view to hold on.

The Last scene in the movie, where Andy Sach (Anne Hathaway) gave Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) a nod and smile, says everything she wanted to say, ‘Thank you for everything’!

“Thank You” is, for me the greatest word, while Love is the greatest gift of God. Saying “thank you” means a lot, it depends on how you say it. Andy’s way, nonverbal, sends powerful waves of gratefulness, much saying that I can do it now, because you help me do it.

I remember the days, when I am still at PNU-SG, we call our SG President as Madam Jedel, (real name: Delfin Baquiran, yes! he’s gay!). I appreciate the way he handles the Student Government: strict, firm and authority, but he has a heart, he shows us that he cries and he feel weak, but nonetheless, our respect is high. He teached us different things, like having confident to talk to may people, being ‘maboka’, and be a leader

Bu then, there are times that you really need to let go. I feel the need to go out of his cluctches. So I resigned from my post, and be an ordinary student. I did not regret my decision, but everytime I see him, or passing by him, I just can forget the feeling that I appreciate everything that he has done for me. Just a nod and a smile says evrything I wanted to say to him, and I know he understands it.

Just being sentimental again.

Gee blogs: BER Month naaaah!

Naaah! Ang bilis ng time. Parang yesterday lang, kaka-18 ko pa lang... and then matatapos na yung Year 2006. It will be year 2007 and I'll be 20 years old. Waaah! I'm not liking it! errrr...

Anyways, I'm hearing Christmas songs nah... sa radio, sa mall and sa LRT daw, according to them... Haha! Ang exag naman! Hmmm... Well, for that, as early as now, I'm giving you my Christmas Wishlist... hehe...

3. I'm still Wishing for this. Ginawa ko na ito nung 18th birthday ko, when I said I want them to give me a PERFUME kasi I'm just wondering kung ano sa tingin nila yung nagay na scent sa akin. hehe...

4. A NICE JOURNAL! yepz... I kinda miss writing on journals kasi since I'm already addicted to THIS blog... I miss my doodles and glittery artworks. I'll be the biggest hypocrite if I'll say that I am very surprised to be in BIG 4. Hehe... Anyway, congratulations to us...

To Ate Ann, it's very sad to see you leave this game having my vote. I hope you'll understand my reason. I'm sorry if ever I've offended you. I wish this is not the end of our ym conversation, text messages and our friendship. You're one of the VH that I really treasure and I'll cherish every single moment I've communicated with you. Paano pa kaya kung nagkita tayo sa UP noon noh? I believe you're a great friend Ate. I'll wait till the next time you'll be in UP.

Since Benj had already extracted his juices, I think it's time for me to thank them (Benj and Charles) for the offer they made to join in their alliance. I know I was not in your FIRST choices... hehe... Though I know you're not regretting it for it worked! Haha! I believe that's one of the factors that brought me here in BIG 4... Thanx guyz!

Having our diary posts as bases, it seems that all of us are not expecting to be the BIG WINNER. But I know all of us want to be the BIG WINNER... There's a difference, anyhow. Being predicted by my co-vh to be the BIG winner and by just stating that I deserve it are such compliments for me. However, we can't still foresee what will happen, for the same process of eviction will occur. What will be each VH's basis upon picking who's who is the BIG inquisition.

To Charles, you didn't have to be offended by my reason, so you didnt have to be that sensitive and defensive about it. My MAIN reason was because you were the least close VH to me, and im sure you feel the same. so kung ikaw ang matanggal, magandang coincidence lang na UP ang mga matitira. I didn't say that just because you are not from UP, you dont deserve to be in the BIG 4. neither did i say that PNU sucks. Bawal bang ipag-cheer na 'astig kung UP lahat ng BIG 4'?

If you think you deserve to be in the BIG 4, good for you. i actually think so too. i just didnt use that criteria when i decided whom to vote out. i had a personal reason, a reason of which i know you understand, kasi nga, sa loob ng 90 days, hindi natin nakuhang mag-usap. the reason maybe personal but it sure as hell doesnt include me thinking that students from schools other than UP suck. Sinabi ko lang na astig kaming UP, pero HINDI KO sinabing OLATS ka dahil hindi ka UP.

And Gee is right, the Gonzales issue os totally unrelated. so if you had to strike back, use something related. Sabihin mo nang mayabang ako, okay lang yun, kasi nga namisunderstood mo yung reasons ko. But to generalize everyone else is a no-no.

From someone who's been considering quitting this game, i am surpised im even included in the BIG 4.

To te ANN, alam mo hindi ko alam kong sinadya mo bang ivote yung Ex-VH para mainvalidate ang ballot mo. Because if you're ballot was valid, then I would be the automatic evictee.

Hindi ko rin alam kung pasasalamat ba ako, hehe. Kasi okay na kasi sa akin na nakarating ako ng Top 5. I had no expectations from this game in terms of prizes. I tried to enjoy what if offers even if it came to a point it was so boring and pointless for me that I wanted to quit.

to BENJ, haha! kumampi lang ako kay Gee, haha! o kitams, nakalusot pa ako sa BIG 4. at hindi ako naoffend na ako vinote mo, hehe. hindi ko sinasabi ito para lang mag-mukhang pogi at sport sa inyong lahat. i am really not offended. astig nga yung dahilan mo eh.. =p

to GEE, obviously, ikaw ang pinaka kaclose ko kasi pinaka madalas kita maka-chat at maka-text. too bad, nagsimula ang game nung may pasok na, yan tuloy, iilan lang kayong nakausap ko nang maayos. kung bakasyon lang tong game, sus, mas nakarir ko siguro ito with you.

to CHARLES, ayan, wala tayo dapat problema, kahit hindi tayo close. hindi ka bobo just because PNU ka at hindi UP. deal with it. pero masisisi mo ba ko kung pag-chicheer ko pa rin ang UP? hindi naman diba? masisisi ba kita kung ipagmalaki mo ang PNU? syempre hindi.. sana gets mo na yun..

The Game as I saw it -Benj

Let's see how this pans out.

I think it's obvious by now that the triumvirate got through easy. I think we were never in any real danger. Rex had a scare, though.

Frankly, Im surprised at the level of integrity of the people in the game. It's not really "integrity" since I wouldnt have seen them as inferior people had they voted me out, but considering the strategic aspect of the game that just shouted the need to vote me out, it's such a surprise to survive the final eviction process. Funny as hell. How did that happen?

I thank those people. But at the same time, Im quite perplexed.

Charles - I have no idea how to rate his game. Much of his maneuverings have either been a) done in a very covert manner of b) non-existent. Charles pretty much did what Gee and I did - stick to a solid bloc and ride it out until the end. It worked. Now what?

Rex - Again, I didnt see his game. He seems like a major freelancer to me who made it through the game without a solid ally. It's very commendable and Im sure he wouldve been an interesting player had there been better competitiveness from the people here.

Gee - Gee is the overwhelming favorite. Im really bent on thinking that there's only one person in the Big 4 who has a realistic chance of beating her - and that's a very LONG shot. It ultimately depends on how the winner will be determined.

Benj - I came into this WANTING to play tough and rough. It was largely unnecessary and I cruised to the final 4 even with a giant target on my back, thanks in part to a bungled use of the immunity option. The players I played with were too decent to vote me out. It's amazing considering I wasn't even making my presence felt in the game. I guess I gained a lot of cred early into the game.

I tried to play a political game and a lot of people were actually put off when I tried to play sides and already build alliances early into the game. I remember trying to convince Cathe that we were going all the way to the final the first time we talked. hehe. I talked to Charles and Gee on the prospect of not getting booted first and having bets off once we reached the final 5.

If it's a "public" vote, it's quite clear that its going to be Gee vs Charles all the way.

If it's an ex-VH vote, it's going to be Gee by a landslide and myself dead last.

If it's a Big 4 vote off, I see it becoming a lot closer with Gee still pulling it out.

To sum it all up, I guess this wouldve been the Final 4 that people wouldve predicted from Day 1. I knew my alliance would hold through all the evictions given the inactivity of the other players. It was well executed. I guess I deserve some credit. Wehehe.

Congratulations to the Big Four!

First time in the history of PBBFG that the final four VHs are composed of 3 males and only 1 female. Benj, Charles Rex and Gee have only 10 days left inside the virtual.

Twinkle Twikle Belle ng Bulacan is the 9th Evictee

Ann's ballot was invalidated and received additional +2 evicting points to the +4 evicting points she had received during the 8th Nomination.

Rex got +2 evicting points plus +2 penality points after finishing last, along with Benj, in PBB Fantasy Game KNB. Benj received -2 saving points but the penality he and Rex received were irrevesible.

Charles received +2 evicting points however he used his Immunity. Gee got -2 saving points.

Ann blogs: My mom

I could no longer contain this feeling. after yesterday's happening, i just wish i could share it to someone who would be able to understand me. sometimes, i think my mom does not like me. she does not appreciate all my efforts to please her. she has her most preferred children, and i often feel i was the least preferred. four days before my daddy died, my mom and i had a fight over some petty issue. about keeping my two puppies inside the house. i saved them from a vacant lot adjacent to our house during a hard rain. they were crying for days and it seemed they were out with no protection. i had climbed the 4 feet fence to save them. one morning, i woke up with them no longer in the house. when i knew it, mommy gave them out already. she did not want the puppies inside the house because of the poopoo, which i used to clean laboriously. i was hurt when she gave them away without letting me know. i was mad too, and my then rebelling heart because of her favoritism soon gave up. i left home without letting them know, and spent four days in a friend's house. when i came back, i was silent. i did not talk to anyone and instead directed towards my room, and there just spent time crying. i did feel guilty for stowing away from the house for that long. i was good during the four days, and did not do anything bad or out of character. i had my pride, so i still did not come out to talk and ask forgiveness. the little dogs were precious to me. the next morning, i woke up early and was hearing them at the dining table laughing. i heard dad laughing too, and then suddenly, i heard my tita calling him out. he was having a stroke. i rushed down to see what was happening. i even saw daddy holding his chest. it was then that i came rushing to him. when i called him out and tried to rush to his side, he waved out his hands to signal me not to come near him. he no longer survived the stroke because it was his third.

I could not stop blaming myself for what had happened. he was having problems then on one of the school and i felt i added to his burden . i love my dad, and sometimes admitted i was more of a daddy's girl. i found it a real struggle to get in to my mom's liking, after all that had happened. i had to support her because at the time i would be the eldest child in the house while my kuya was pursuing his law studies. so i did try my best to please her without having the issue patched up. it was hard and too often we would have misunderstandings and skirmishes which could last three days or even a week. at worst, even 3 weeks or a month. that was really a hard time for me. when i was 23, i attempted to be independent by living in an apartment for three months. some 10 minutes ride from our house. but then i came back because of her. i did not do anything bad when i was living alone. in fact, it was also painful for me not to be with them. i thinned. that was the time when i gave her a pair of lovebirds, my way of saying i am sorry. now, we have 6, and another pair of latinos was bought by her just last week. we also have this talkative bird named mines (we don't know if the bird is a female or male but then we name it that) who can now babble many words like tao po! in variating pitch and tones, kumain ka na ba?, and sometimes even the cry of our dog bawnie. when i got back home, i knew i had to accept few things. i was not the favored child, and that she was used to me having catered to my own needs and problems co'z since i was 19 i used to be independent from them, emotionally and financially. i was sleeping in a separate room and bed since i was in grade 2, and that made me think before i was different from my brothers and sisters. i could say i was stronger, so i was really the right one to help and support my mom in everything in absence of kuya. i did help even if i was not favored. but sometimes the same heroic and sacrificial act would be the reason of my sadness. i would sometimes feel the break in my heart. like yesterday afternoon, i was talking to my younger brother over a petty issue. this time it was not about dogs. she was at his side.

In spite of all that happen, i love my mom. i love her more each day kahit hindi na nya malaman. but somehow i wished she could appreciate all the things i was doing for her.

This is the 2nd time Im going to talk about Nomination....

Its quite confusing, tama si Gee... sino talaga ang maaalis? Gee! binuko mo ako... Yes... Ive used my immunity, since I cant use it pagdating sa Big 4... (remember the rule on immunity?) So this is my final chance to use my immunity.

Since I used my immunity, I am sure of a slot in the final 4, but I am not expecting to be the big winner, so its upto the 3, benj, gee and the unidentified last person! I am very happy to reach this part.

As for Rex... what kind of excuse is that? Mas tatanggapin ko pa sana yung sinabi mo na hndi tayo close, kasi totoo naman un, hndi pa naman tayo nag-usap sa YM or sa kahit ano... but for the "Tsaka para astig, UP lahat ng BIG FOUR, if ever.". I just thought that If I am immuned, then it's not a fair fight -Gee

First of all, I would like to thank the two peepz who saved me (strategically or not)... and I would also like to thank those who saved me last week....

Honestly, I'm really dying to see who's the 9th Evictee because this week's results is quite confusing in a way you can't assume who is the one who'll be forced to leave.... Ate Ann got +4 evicting points, although she used her immunity, her ballot is invalidated. Having an invalid ballot means all the entries are not qualified right? Is she still immuned? If yes, Kuya Rex will be the next evictee for Charles used his immunity....

IMMUNITY..... I intended not to use that this week. I also expect them doing the same but 2 VHs tried to be immuned. I just thought that If I am immuned, then it's not a fair fight. This nomination will determine the people who'll collectively hold a renowned title, the BIG 4. And I wanna be in BIG 4 without the help of that immunity. I'll be more gratified...

Ay! Anyway, we did some activities, I believe there are still reward and penalty points so, for now, we can't still foretell the 8th evictee.

Resuts of the 8th Nomination

"Multimedia Speaker": bbk, first of all, i want to use my IMMUNITY

I want to evict ann, because she is a big threat to me as the big 4. I know that she deserves to be in the final 4 and maybe as the big winner, because she usually blogs, updates her diary, participate in the activity. But strategically, she needs to go. I dont want to offend her or something by voting for her, pero malakas ang personality nya na, i think, baka hndi lang kami magkasundo.

I want to save benj, because i know he really deserves to be in the Big Four. Kahit na hndi siya mapa-blog ngayong panahon na ito, hindi lang blog at diary updates ang basehan ng paggiging big 4, at maaaring big winner din. Alam kong malakas ang personality nya, but i think, we compliment each other, kaya siguro madali kaming magkasundo.

"Corps Commanders Succk": I'm giving my -1 saving point to Benj. Yes, he's the least active this week for he rarely blogs and he seldom participates in our activities BUT I believe that this season's BIG 4 is not up to standard without him. His presence is a must for BIG 4. Go Benj!

For my +2 evicting points, this is the most difficult decision I've made in this game. All of us are really deserving but there's a Virtual Housemate who's at my bottom for I think that in the remaining players, this VH has the lowest profile. No offense, it's a very hard-hitting choice because we're all interesting. You've said not to shower you with insulting words, you really don't deserve that because you're the nicest player in this game. However, it's not enough. I'm voting for Ann.

"Implement Project": This nomination is tough, but at the same time easy. I expect the final five to be very intelligent people and since I'm the only one who has no immunity at this point, I anticipate all of them using their immunity for this nomination. The reason why the kept it for so long was to use it this week, right? So it's going to be a major lapse/ failure to vote that will save me from CERTAIN eviction.

This obviously reflects a major flaw in the gameplay, no thanks to the immunity option that is horrendously powerful.

For the sake of argument, let's just assume that my vote actually matters.

I'm voting for REX. Why? Because I think among the four other people who are in the top 5, he's the most likely to be unable to vote. HAHAHAHA. That's my only chance so hopefully REX gets so busy and fails to check game announcements. How pathetic is that? Me wanting someone to be too busy to vote. HARHARHAR. So there. Rex, I hope you forget. :p

Im saving Gee. Why? Pure strategy. Gee is the most unlikely evictee today and saving the other 3 could be throwing away my chance to be in the Big 4. Im voting for you because you dont need my saving. With me gone, Im quite sure you're a shoo in for the title of Big winner.

It's ironically true, isn't it? That even if we know by our own and other's experience that certain actions have certain adverse consequences, we still do them anyway.

We keep on cramming for our exams, even if the past 10 exams we crammed did not produce any passing results. Why can't we just study at least a week before, even just part by part.
We keep on stalling instead of doing what we need to do, only to promise to not do it again in the end when we realize we have no time even to sleep just because a lot still needs to be done. Why can't we just immediately do what needs to be immediately done?
We keep on denying things even if we know that in the end, we would eat our own words and admit it anyway. Why can't we just swallow our pride, retain some dignity left and just be done with it?
We keep on doing foolish things, sometimes even to the utmost disapproval of even our friends. We've learned the lessons many times before, why can't we just say 'no'?

Yes, we need to make our own mistakes. But do we have to repeat the same mistake over and over and over and over... again? I think that inside all of us, is a masochist, hehe.. =p

i always get a lot of "uy, kamukha mo si..." comments. It ranges from celebrities, people they see around, people they used to be classmates with etc. It actually reached a point wherein people actually pull me aside to have their pics taken next to me after our gigs - ipapakita daw nila sa kakilala nila na kamukha ko. It's quite amusing, but it's also quite frustrating that my look is so generic. hehe.

Im feeling real bad about not being able to post here lately. heck, ive been so busy my blog has been in a derelict state for weeks now. There has been a lot of stuff going on - and a lot of it wouldve been amazingly bloggable --- but time has just not permitted me to gather my thoughts and pour my ideas online.

Im somehow surprised with the results of the trust activity, but come on, how can i possibly question trust? Its either you get it or not right, asking for it/ wanting it would be stupid. Im quite surprised with the level of integrity that this game has been played. There has been no blindsing at all! Corny. Hehe. I was expecting to be the sly, slippery traitor who would stab everyone in the back, but amazingly, it wasnt necessary to get this far.

My number may be up this week, but I'm quite content with how far Ive gone. I dont see myself winning anyway. Obviously, a lot of my brownie points rests on my blogging skills and how I (used to) blog on topics not usually discussed. Now that Im barely blogging, there's barely anything that people could use to justify me winning this thing. Im not exactly the friendliest one of the bunch, but its great that the other four people are probably the four people Ive talked to the most in this game.

Im quite impressed with how Rex and Ann have played the game so far. They have gone this far without the help of an overt alliance. Gee totally deserves it and Charles is not far behind.

But seriously, I dont see myself falling out before the Final 4. It's not my call though. hehe.

Rex blogs: So much for being a Justice Secretary

While I was having lunch, I decided to read the Sunday paper. And after the usual news about the oil spill in Guimaras, page A5 of the Philippine Daily Inquirer screams in front of me, "Gonzalez: UP breeds destabilizers, naked runners"

The moment I finished the piece, I knew I won't take it lying down. So as if forwarding our dear Justice Secretary's bold yet stupid statement isn't enough, here I am, blogging my 2nd ever political piece. =p

Obviously, I was offended by the statement. It teems with utmost unfairness.

I'm not going to deny that yes, UP does produces most of the activists, young and old alike in our society today. He may have made it clear that 'he's not assailing the entire university population because “there are many students there who are bright and good" '. But the thing is, he just did.

Raul Gonzalez has no right to judge the way UP breeds its students because he IS NOT from UP. The very same things he bashed about UP are the same things he will NEVER EVER understand because he never got to experience them, being a UST alumnus.

Does he know that in fact, a huge majority of the population don't attend these mobilizations because they'd rather attend to their academic affairs than shout tirades without offering any solutions to the government?

And what the hell was he talking about when he said, "He said this was not the way the students should repay the government for giving them a world-class education. “They should consider the fact that the state is the one paying for their schooling. Why fight the state? Why try to bring it down. I think some degree of gratitude should be there also,” he said.

What world class education was he talking about? Is he even aware that the same administration he is vouching for only grants half the budget of what the government schools need to even provide a decent education?

I may hate UST for winning the UAAP Cheerdance competition last year in a very controversial manner, but never did I seriously think the actual school and its students actually suck. Heck, even I once dreamt of being a Thomasian. I have friends at UST, I even know a lot smart bloggers from UST!

I am from UP but I am not a militant activist. I am not saying my fellow students who'd rather storm Malacanang with placards are wrong. It's just that I don't agree with their methods but I understand where their passion is coming from.

You see, that is one thing a UP student has -- passion for something he believes in. But in the process, he has respect for what other people are passionate about.

There is a reason why people like militant activists exist. Because injustice is everywhere and the administration does not seem to care. Just because the middle class do not heed the eternal calls for another People Power Revolution does not mean it is satisfied with the way things are handled by the administration.

What I hate the most about his statement is that he insinuates that we UP students don't love our country just because we are against the government. Does Gonzales know that in fact, UP encourages its graduates to contribute to the society, to help this country out? Is he not aware that it is actually love for country that fuels these activists to take it to the streets? Does he actually think that it is the activists' idea of fun to just shout endless calls for GMA's resignation? I may not agree with what they do, but even I cannot deny their love of the country. Last time I checked, electoral cheating, graft and corruption does not at all exhibit love of country.

Raul Gonzales, you are such a misinformed man. You don't know what you're talking about. i can't imagine how you could be a Justice Secretary when you have this so much bias in your system. I may have only taken 3 units of Philosophy, but it is more than enough to allow me to pinpoint the numerous fallacious statements you made, most especially the hasty generalizations. So by the rules of logic, you are an 'invalid' person, haha! =p

Nakuuu! Kasuklam ka talaga! Haha! Anlakas ng apog mo na sabihin yan, ni hindi mo ba naisip na andami mong kasama sa gobyerno na UP alumni na maaaring ma-offend sa mga sasabihin mo? And you even had the nerve to call yourself a UST alumnus. Haay, so does UST breed illogical biased generalizers? I don't think so. It's a shame really, you're behavior is unbecoming of a supposedly 'well-behaved' man.

Gee blogs: Philippine Idol... Aug. 27 Episode...

Wow! There are lots of "I can't believe it" events... Really!

I didn't finished the episode last week so I was really laughing out loud when I saw YOVA, the tranny in PI, w/ his GUY GROUPMATES... Haha! Ang sagwa! But, Hmmm... I kinda think that it's unfair for his part, the range of his voice is in female's... Yung isang transgen naman kasi na si PAULA, female din naman yung range ng voice niya so it's okay. Oh hell, he made it naman so okay lang ;)

Then, as I've said in my last post, I saw some contestants there na contestants na rin ng ibang singing contest ( Marinel Santos, OJ Mariano, SHAKE) and even a pro, si DIVO. Hmmm... Why is that? Anyway, surprisingly, WALANG NAKAPASOK SA KANILA! Gravity! Si Marinel naman kasi, errr.... Infairness, I really love her voice... may pagka Christina Aguilera na may pagka Lani Misalucha... ang galing niyang mag-control ng voice! Grabe... This next nomination is the most crucial of all -Charles

Its already day 85, and i think is hould be making this diary post days before, but here goes. with 15 days to go and 5 VHs left, the game has changed, very much! Allainces were made, though, i dont think any of the VH suspected that they have connive with each other, the sole purpose of that is to make one invicinble for eviction. Though, I am not saying that there is really a formal allaince, not that I am aware of it!

The game roughly changed from boring to exciting with the "trust activity", although i havent been voted as the most trusted, i think i am not the least trusted among the VHs. Gee and Ann, on the other hand, made peopl believe who they are, now that 15 days are left, they are big threat to anybody, even to themselves!

The last nomination, where Ron got evicted, were not a surprise, with Gee cancelling Ron's immunity, she made Ron the most susceptible among the VHs. That thinking, VH really voted him out! Now this next nomination is the most crucial of all, since this will determine the Big Four!

Woho, it's my codename. when i was voting kc yun ang narinig ko sa kanta sa radyo. hahaha. tamad na ko mag-isip. di naman siguro nag-react c benj when he knew next to ron, he's my least trusted vh. but then knowing how charles and gee see me, nagkaroon ng change sa pagtingin ko sa kanila (heheh). but then nasa puso ko pa rin sila. i will be benj's most loyal co-vh in here. c charles, haven't saved him in any nomination. when the game started, i told myself i wud want charles to win. but the game tide is changing at hindi ko pa cya uli nakakausap. i thought he enjoyed our chats, very intellectually stimulating. 15 days to go, ang bilis! i believe PBBFG is life changing. bcoz of it, natuto ko mag-blog. if ever i will not be in the big four, ok lang, just evict me with graceful words (heheh) pls no insults. i will be happy to see anyone of them become the big winner and runners-up.

Charles blogs: Tears and Rains

Just this afternoon, I have caught an episode of ABS-CBN’s Let’s Go! It was entitled “Break Na Tayo!”, well of course, it is all about breaking up and letting go. Was it incidental that the tears both from the characters and from the sky were pouring in? Or does love really pours out when it is let go?

Yesterday, Sa Piling Mo ended with a bang, really a bang, because this might be the last teleserye with Judy Ann-Piolo love team. But more than that, love was witness again in letting go. I am so much in tears when I was watching the last episode of the series. It is one of the shows that really made me so emotional, but yet, so frustrated to find my one eternal love.

But since I haven’t found my eternal love yet, maybe, I wouldn’t have to endure with tears of letting go. But it is always raining hard if your love life is in unfathomable saturation point. Maybe, tears really pour when love makes it rain.

Well, I just wanto you to know that I'm not fond of exposing my opinions about politics... Hmmm... I kinda slightly hated my self earlier, because I forgot to bring my cam... Pinoy Dream Academy vs. Philippines Idol

At first, I found PDA boring... The concept is good... pero, basta, hindi ko lang siya feel. I'm an avid viewer kasi of American Idol, and I was super happy the moment I found out that there's a Filipino Version of that and isa din ako sa mga taong nabwiset nung nalaman kong magkasabay sila... Well, you know ABS-CBN naman diba? And ABC 5 pa yung sa PI... Kaya I hated PDA, kahit na kapamilya ako... BUT...

I knew it.... Hehe... I kinda liking that Japanese guy named Jun Hirano who made it sa top 16... He's so cute kasi especially the way he cries... Para siyang bata... haha... Feeling ko, kakagat ang masa sa kanya, just like Sandara Park... Feeling ko lang... hehe... And there's this guy pa from pasig named RJ Jimenes who's really a good singer! Swear! Taga-pasig pa! hehe... And marami ding pretty girls, meron din namang nakakairita... i think this is such an interesting reality show... The formula is like this eh: AMERICAN IDOL + BIG BROTHER... Hay, i'll be hooked nanaman!hehe...

Basta, PHILIPPINE IDOL is still in my heart... Nga pala... I saw 2 Star in a Million former grand finalists... OJ MARIANO and MARINEL SANTOS... And SEARCH FOR A STAR IN A MILLION season 2 finalist, Si SHAKE...wala lang... good luck sa kanila dun!

1. Each day, 2-5 questions are going to be posted in this thread.

Hokei it's about time for the second installment of my 'unpopular opinion' series! O ha, may official disclaimer pa ako, hehe. So expect me to put that on all of my unpopular opinion posts in the future.

Anyway, my unpopular opinion this week is:

"Anime is too kiddy for me."

Wait! Before all you anime lovers out there crucify me for this, let me explain myself. =p

Obviously, I am not an anime person. But I don't hate them either. It's just that I am amused at how some people even older at me can be anime addicts at their stage in life.

Don't get me wrong, I loved cartoons when I was a kid. In fact, one summer, it came to a point where my Mama actually scheduled my viewing time because I was spending too much time in front of Cartoon Network! Voltes 5. Peter Pan. Ang Mahiwagang Kuwintas. A Dog of Flanders. Cedie. Princess Sarah. Flintstones. Jetsons. Voltron (The lion ang vehicles versions). He-man. (And that series where the heroes have the power to turn into the animals splattered on their chests, geesh, I forgot the name, I liked it so much pa naman.) Captain Planet. Little Lulu. X-Men. Wild Cats. Ray-Earth. Well, you get the picture. Seriously, I'm sure I forgot a lot of cartoons that I used to watch religiously as a kid.

But you see, that's my point. I liked these when I WAS a kid. Now I don't, hehe. Well, I actually stopped liking these when I was in the last few years of my high school. Blame it on MTV, hehe.

It's just that I think that there are things we outgrow when we, uhm, grow up, hehe. And for me, watching these shows that are made FOR kids in the first place is one of them. Sometimes though, I still enjoy watching re-runs of these cartoons, but not because I still enjoy them that same way I used to when I was a kid. It was because, it is really fun reminiscing at the stuff you used to like as a kid, right? Of course, your taste matures and objectively speaking, I wonder how in the world I liked some of these cartoons. I'm like, "Haha! Ang cocorny naman ng mga ito!" Of course, it is but natural. Shows for kids are as simple as the life of the minds that watch them. There's not much realistic complications in the plots. You wouldn't find any of the manic stuff we adults are forced to face in the real world.

As we grow up, we evolve as individuals. But our cartoons don't grow old with us. They stay as innocent and simply entertaining as they are to be appreciated by the next generation of young minds.

So what do I think of grown-ups who love anime? Are they immature? Not really. At least not all of them, haha. Each anime-addicted grown-up has a reason why they watch these shows, but unfortunately, it is something I will never get. Apparently, I'm not into Samurai X, Naruto, Gundam Wing, Slam Dunk, etc. I don't know, it just doesn't interest me.

The way I see it, Naruto for these guys is just what Grey's Anatomy is for me. Right? It just happens that what they like is in animation form. The only catch is, cartoons are made for children and TV series like Grey's are made for adults.

I know that adults can still pick up a thing or two from these animes. Nothing wrong with that, right? It is even beneficial. But what works for me is when I pick up lessons from a more realistic setting. Because it's much closer to what I actually go through everyday.

Let me end this by making it clear that I am not saying adults who watch anime are childish. I think anime is too kiddy for me, but, hey, whatever works for you, right? Whatever helps you get through your day.. =p

Results of the Nomination

"REJECTED": +2 points for RON because he's the least active. And I kinda feel that he'll gonna nominate me... And also, if not for him, Jinelle is still in the game. I believe he is the person behind " I AM JUST IN TIMBERLAKE " ... If not, I'm sorry... haha, no hurt feelings! Peace!!! -1 point for CHARLES because he's so nice. He deserves to be in Big 4...

"Kroesche": I nominate Rex for eviction. Hindi na sya ganun ka active sa game.. Save ko naman po si Benj.. I think he deserves to be in the Big4.

"Skip": Im voting out ron. ive always wanted him to get voted out. Im saving gee. im not one who breaks tradition. gee, im saving you. i owe my stay in the game to you. on to the final 5!

"Decaldron": I vote Ron to be evicted, because he is a big threat to me as the big winner. i vote benj to be saved because I really enjoyed talking to him although these past few weeks he dont talk too much.

"Ikabupini": I want to evict RON because I'm not that close to him. I want to save GEE because the other VHs might gang up on her for being so active.

"Woho": I will give my -2 saving points to gee. akala ko kasi inaaway nya ko di naman pala. she deserves it too because she's really one to be trusted. my +2 evicting points to ron. although he blogs well and i find his blogs amusing, i have never talked to him again, to think my first task was to collect the 50 facts about him. i did make effort to reach him but the effort was unilateral.

DAY EIGHTY-THREE
Rex blogs: I've truly made it!

My first ever blog post was launched for the entire internet world to read on January 2, 2005. So who introduced me into the world of blogs? Well, I'm not sure if she know it but it's Cyril Bonabente. She was my Tenpin Bowling classmate way back in sophomore year. (She is a Journalism graduate, so naturally, she was a very good writer). She posted her blog address on her Friendster bulletin. I checked it out and I wanted to have my own right away. And so, kingofchocolates.blogspot.com was born! I even didn't have a proper entry for it so my first ever blog post was the one and only fictional love story I ever wrote! Haha! Kumbaga, tinesting ko muna how blogging works, hehe. And so the rest is history.

And now, more than 1.5 years after, my blog is still alive! Whoopie! Hehe. Actually, on it almost died on its first year, haha! I wouldn't update it regularly because I didn't know what to write. The only reason I decided to seriously revive my blog early this year was because I had a serious rift with some people who used to be good friends, hehe. You see, I wanted to release all this anger I had for them and so this blog served as my outlet.

The rift is already over, but I haven't lost the zeal for using this blog as a personal and creative outlet. Because in my course, I cannot in any way hone whatever creative skills I've got, hehe. We deal more with keywords and equations, not words or actual sentences.

And so, I'm proud with I have done with my blog and how it has affected me. I've met many fellow bloggers whom I actually consider as 'friends' to a certain degree, hehe. Though my ranking isn't as high as before, it's okay. Kasi naman, hindi na rin naman kasi ako ganoon kadalas mag-blog-hop, diba, hehe. Give-and-take lang kasi yan eh. If you want people to visit on your blog, mag-visit ka rin sa kanila. I've realized that in the bloggosphere, the saying 'an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth' is very applicable, hehe. 'A visit for a visit, a comment for comment'! =p

So eh ano naman ngayon? Honga naman. Wala lang. Because today, I got my very first 'hater' on my cbox, haha! Grabe, this means, I've truly made it, I am indeed a certified blogger. 'Someone' actually exerted an effort to try to degrade me, haha! Someone actually hates me for being me, hehe!

The Truth: You are such a *****! And 'matalino?' Ha! That's a laugh! I think otherwise!

Okay, so what now? Wala lang. Natuwa lang ako. Pero sa totoo lang, ano kaya yung 5 asterisks? You're such a bitch? You're such a ahole? sheet? fucks? Wahaha!!

Ann blogs: Balancing

Mahirap magbalanse ng buhay especially if in ur past life u had spent it in the extreme. when i was still a stude, i had no time to socialize at ngayon all i want is to make bawi of the lost time. it has been always good knowing people but then there are times na nalilibang ako at nakakalimutan ko ang aking ibang gawain. maybe that is how thirsty i am of people! one disadvantage of being a working student was you have so limited time and you failed to examine the lives of others and know them. it was just a way of life for us. governor josie used to be a working student in her college, but then she graduated with flying colors. she graduated cum laude in her one undergrad course, and in her second course, magna cum laude. she would often told us how she was proud of being a working student. then she became successful in her career as a public servant. and i myself admired her. her nanay iluminada is a relative in the roxas side. now i wonder what went wrong. the last news i heard about her was she was already separated from her husband. i know their love story! they were childhood sweethearts who met in their highschool! it was such a shock when i heard that rumor, and later got some confirmation before i left the provincial government. the reason might be her time that should be spent for her family was spent in some public functions, in which she did not fail other people. i know how painful it was for her to hear some criticisms of enemies and common people alike about her administration. she lost her own family because of public service and then still criticized!

I found some lesson in her life. fame, honor and recognition are just temporary things in life. andyan yan but it's not permanent, enjoy it while it's still there, but then be prepared when that glamorous time ends. be sure there are still things you can turn to after that kind of life. your family is one, who whatever happens will be there for you. who can accept you even if you committed the damnest mistake in your life. a perfect family i mean. perfect in the sense that there are no broken relationships. of course the perfectness does not mean there are no problems to come! we are not in heaven! you do some safeguards to preserve and protect your family even in a life of glamour and prestige. that's where balance should be put.

We always have a choice. it was said that great people are usually those who have deficiencies in other aspect of their life. my dad is one. of course i consider him great having established more than five schools in his lifetime, but during those times, he was sometimes blind and deaf to our needs. he did no upbring us in a way that we often receive the luho, bright lights, cars. in one way, the practice taught us to become simple.

The choice is between being great but being lax in some aspects, and being great but maintaining balance in everything. rush life and you'll miss some of the good things; live gracefully and you taste the goodness of it. you can still be great when you just learned to balance everything.

Ron blogs: Survivor 13 Cast: Unleashed!

The long wait is over for Survivor fans like me!! The official cast for the show's 13th season has been announced and mannnnn,I would consider it the best cast Survivor has ever had!! Why?

Let me tell you all the wonderful things about this season.

There would be 20 castaways divided into 4 tribes. What makes this twist the most interesting ever? Guess what, they are divided by RACE!! Yep..it's the Caucasians vs the African-Americans vs the Hispanics vs the Asian-Americans! So that only tells us that there would(should) be a Filipino-American playing Survivor for the first time. Well it's true! TWO Filipino-Americans will be a part of the Asian-American tribe! Now that sounds really cool,huh? For Filipinos like me, that's a reason enough to watch Survivor:Cook Islands this September 14! lol

Now going back to the two lucky pinoys who made it to the most popular reality TV show in America! Who are they??

The first one is Brad Virata. He's the same guy I've revealed in one of my entries here or should I say in my spoiler here?? Anyways,he's 29 years old from Seattle, Washington. Well I already told you that he's into fashion...to be more specific, he is a fashion director. And it has been confirmed that he's gay! Whoa, Survivor's first ever Asian gay contestant. That makes him more remarkable than the other castaways..

The second lucky pinoy is Jenny Guzon-Bae! So a Filipina is on!! Yikes, she's 36 years old from Melrose Park, Illinois. She's a real estate agent and a graduate of Journalism. Believe it or not, she became a TV reporter for a Pinoy news program in Chicago.. Uh huhhhh..she must be good speaker! I really can't wait to see this Pinay on Survivor!

So to my fellow Pinoy Survivor fans out there, let us all pray that these two "pambato's" will make it far in the game! I know pinoys really have what it takes to be the SOLE SURVIVOR!!! Way to go Brad and Jenny!!!

7th Nomination starts

Nomination runs from Thursday (12:01am) until Saturday (11:59pm). Each VH must submit his/her ballot with explanation why he/she votes against and for a particular VH. VHs who failed to nominate before the deadline shall automatically receive 5 point "to evict" votes. VHs with invalid ballots will automatically receive a +2 penalty points.

A new codename is needed for every Nomination. Choosing nominees through lottery is prohibited. The announcement of the results of the nomination (the Eviction) is on Sunday.

Gee blogs: Sadness... *sigh

I just want you to know, wala na si Chu-chu... Well, she's still alive pa naman. My mom called some Barangay Tanods and she gave Chu-chu to them. Natatawa nga ako sa story ng mom ko. Kaya pala siya tumawag ng tanod eh kasi dinambahan siya ni Chu-chu... Haha... nabwiset na siya. But she told me, nung nakasakay na daw sa truck si Chu-chu, naawa daw siya... Parang ganito kasi daw yung itsura niya, she's like " Bye,,, hehe... babalik na ako sa amo ko! "... hay,,, nakaka-awa talaga siya... Last night pa lang, yung parang na-realize niya na wala na yung mga amo niya, and iba na yung nagpapakain sa kanya... parang umiiyak na yung tahol niya... Naiinis tuloy ako sa kanila... hehe... Checker Game

Six remaining VH play Checker Game to avoid +2 irreversable evicting points (cannot be reversed by saving votes or Immunity) for the first player out in the game and -2 irreversable saving points (cannot be reversed by evicting votes) for the winner or the player who has the last move.

Checker board has 61 grey and 6 colored tiles. Each VHs has pre-assigned color: Red is for Ann, blue for Benj, green for charles, yellow for Gee, orange for Rex and black for Ron. Colored tiles are at least 5 or 6 gray tiles apart.

Mechanics:

1. VHs will select one (1) grey tile which is connected to his/her "last marked" tiles. Once no more tile is available for a VH, he/she is out.

2. First player to post in this thread (venue for this Checker Game) gets the first move and will be followed by VH whose name is next to him/her alphabetically. For instance, Benj got the first move, Charles will follow, then Gee and so on and so forth).

3. A VH must make his/her move within 6 hours or he/she loses his/her chance to finish the game. He/she must post his/her move in this thread. For intance, Ann should reply "DOWN-LEFT" if she want to move to that tile or "DOWN-RIGHT" if she wants to move to that tile.

4. No VHs can post in the game's thread if it is not his/her turn yet or if he/she is out.

5. No VH can change his/her move by editing his/her post.

6. VHs have until Saturday 12MN to finish the game.

I am charleslemark, an active member of ABS-CBN Forums and an avid Kapamilya. Tomorrow, August 9, would be the first year anniversary of ABS-CBN Forums under a new board, powered by Invision Power Boards.

All members are expecting some celebration for the anniversary, but a different surprise greeted us today, one day before the anniversary, the ABS-CBN Forum was hacked by someone called Zim/Zimlite. Please do something about this. Since the board was hosted by IPB, there has at least 5 times that it went offline for how many days, sometimes weeks!

Please, if ABS-CBN really values its Kapamilya, do something about this! ABS-CBN is much superior than other networks, so please do something about this problem.

Gee blogs: LUCKY NUMBER!

Haha,,, whatta great event to start this day. I woke up early at 8:00... Yup, early na siya sa kin... then suddenly, I realized, TUESDAY pala ngayon... 8:30 class ko! Errrrrr... Cataloging pa siya... I need to attend that meeting and uhm, haha... Di ko makikita c CLOSER guy.... hihihi... Waaahhh... 9:30 na ako nakarating. Nakakahiya kay Ma'am Nats... But at least, I tried. But, errrr.... BADTRIP! ABSENT SIYA!!! Waaaaaah! Dayum!

Hmmm... Reishel, Kelvs and I went to Jollibee and I was really surprised having heard that we shared the same sentiments about, oh well, secret... Basta, it was a shock. Nagay pala sa aming 3 ang maging serious... Nyahaha!

Then, then, then,,,, a person in my previous post gave me a nice "Thanx!"... Haha... I dunno but the feeling is 30-70... 30% "sige na nga, i'll forgive you nah" and 70% INSULTED... It only means that he/she's not aware of offending someone... Duh! Whatever... Sige na nga, ganoon lang talaga siya... But I'm warning him/her... I'm the kind of person that has a very short patience for a person possesing such ungrateful trait and no one can ever tell the things that I can I do when I'm angry... Once in a blue moon lang yun, but I'll make sure it will be unforgetable... Haha! How funny naman... If I'm aiming for progress, I shouldn't be just writing this. Well, I'll try to talk at him/her.

It was 6 years ago when I first saw my HS super crush... I call him SIR GIAN... haha! Actually, hindi ko pa siya crush nun... I just happened that someone is calling him, and ako yung parating lingon ng lingon ( kapangalan ko eh! haha!) and then one time, Linggo ng Wika Celebration,,, pareho kaming kasali sa Balagtasan... and Pareho kaming LAKANDIWA... And ang galing niya... Haha... Dun nagstart! Well, how's him na kaya? hehe... Breaking the silence -Ann

When bbk released the results of who trusts whom activity, some of it came of a shock to me and also humiliation. shock because there were some VHs whom i expected to trusts me more than the other who trusted the other; humiliation because there are VHs who trust me more than others whom i trust least. but come on! we were in a game and i was sure bbk was just breaking us because he knew that we were the core group who had communicated evercince the game began. a little explaining to myself, the choices i made were based on only one criteria which was who among them i found more predictable. the more predictable a VH was, the more he/che could be trusted. it was the only criteria i was able to think of no hurt feelings!

Anyway, the airport thing nga yung totoo. but the other story has a certain degree of truth in it. totoo yung part na pinagdedebatehan namin kung may pasok ba o wala. pero hindi si Bunye ang mga tinext namin kundi mga dormers, kasi sila ang nakakaalam agad kung may announcement. but having said that, may cellphone number talaga kami ni Bunye, kasi yung orgmate namin may auntie na press. at yung orgmate namin yun, nakaka-text talaga niya si Bunye about official stuff like suspension of classes.

DAY SEVENTY-NINE
Gee blogs: Started and Ended with Earrings...

Hayyyy.. ang sarap naman! Walang class today... Walang assignments... Walang exams for the next meeting... I like it! haha...

Hmmm... I lost a pair of earrings last photoshoot... Waaahhh! You just don't know how a pair means so much to me. Earrings are one of my passions in life... Well, It's like a bangled earrings,, and errr... I was sooo upset. It has sentimental value kasi, I've used it during Che-che's debut and some night out with, ehem... haha! So, for that... I bought a new pair but it didn't satisfy me enough so I bought another pair and again, I was not contented until I bought 13 pairs.. haha! 13 pala ang katumbas ng isa...

Haha.. i just realized, I haven't bought earrings pala for 6 months. Blessing na din siguro na nawala ung isang pair na yun... And, I believe it also signifies that I should let those MEMORIES go... because, I can never be in that period.

Speaking of MEMORIES... I've received a text message from Veron, and it really moved me...:

"The importance of something is seen when it's done... The worth of someone is realized when they're gone... It's always a mystery that we realized the essence when it's already a memory..."

Oh yeah, I'm in the 8th month of this year and maraming chapters ang dumaan. i just can't imagine how time goes by so fast (I know, gasgas na yung line na yuh! haha..). But it's true naman, right? Hopefully, 2 years na lang, and I'll be facing a new episode in my life... Oh well, I can't imagine my self in a corporate attire... Bwahaha... anyway, matagal pa siya. I'll enjoy my college life first... before it will become a memory... haha...

Hay, I miss my HS friends tuloy... HOY!!! Kailan ba ulit kayo magbabadminton? Sasama na ako promise!!! Bibili na ako ng sariling raketa! Hahaha... hay, iyon na lang ang bonding natin noh? Busy kasi tayong lahat! Mabuhay ang Rizalians Batch 2003-2004! Wahaha... Seriously, I miss you all... Don't worry, malapit na ang Sembreak at gagawa na naman tayo ng lagim! hihihi...

See? That simple BADMINTON SESSION that I'm neglecting is a great example of that quote. haha!

*Ann 1: I don't know why? Kung tutuusin mas maganda siya sa akin. She upsets me with her confessionbut at the same time reason for me to feel sorry for her.

*Benj 1: My dad has been working for Pilipinas Shell since'76 so when they were casting for a Shell ad backin the late 90s featuring those pop-up shell cards(you know, the one with instant prizes), I had notrouble getting the part. I actually have a copyof the actual ad. I have one line of dialog androughly 3 seconds of exposure! Beat That!

Benj 2: If you look closely on my mug shots, i have athree-stitch cut just above my right eyebrow. No,Im not a boxer, but I used to play football inhigh school and I figured into an ugly accidentalhead butt when an opposing player and i collided.It knocked me out for a few seconds, and now, Ihave an ugly scar to prove it. Gee 2: May concert si Christian Bautista sa LCC so nagpunta kmi ng OSA office para ma-meet xa kasi super crush ko xa. Nung andun na kami, nagpa-pic ako sa kanya and he even called me ms. grinny girl. omg! kwentuhan to the max kami saosa kasi di pa naman niya turn and guess what?he invited me na mag dinner. he's sooo nice!hehehe....

*Jamila 1: About three or four years ago, I went to the statesand stayed there for 10 whole months. I'veexperienced the four seasons during the duration ofmy stay. I've gone to West Virginia, Hawaii,Cincinnati, Minnesota (for a stop over) to name afew. On the way to the States, I got air sick. I wentback home to manila its just because I miss mydad, my grandma(both mother and father side), andmany others.

Jamila 2: Sabi sa akin ng dad ko bitbitin ko yung two piecebikini ko and mag didiving daw kami, nag dive kamikasama ko auntie ko, dad ko and someother divers. nag dive kami, aabot namin yungtinatawag nilang catheral. at ang ganda. taposnamin mag dive, inayos namin yung diving gearsnamin then kumain kami ng lunch, nagpahingathen nag snorkling kami ng mga pinsan at ngstepmom ko. I love diving and swimming with mydad, my aunt and snorkling with my stepmom and cousins.

*Rex 1: This happened when I went home to the Philippines from Bahrain alone. Habang nakaupo ako at naghihintay ako for the signal to board the plane sa boarding lounge ng Dubai, mayroong 2 babae na umupo sa tabi ko. They were obviously domestic helpers, kasi tungkol sa mga amo't alaga nila at kung ilang taon na silang hindi nakakauwi ng Pilipinas ang pinag-uusapan nila. Tapos napatingin yung isang babae sa akin. Nginitian ko naman siya, kasi nakakahawa yung excitement niya sa pag-uwi. Napansin siguro noong isa na nakikinig ako sa usapan nila, kaya tinanong niya ako, "Eh ikaw, ilan ang alaga ang iniwan mo? I dont see the 'bigger picture' on our latest activity -Rex

Who trusts whom? honestly, for me, 'trust' is too strong a word for us VHs. why? for starters, it's too broad. what kind of trust are we talking about? trust na pwede mo sabihan ng kahit ano? trust na alam mong hindi ka lolokohin? trust someone with your life?

Second, in our case where we only get to chat online, i have qualms about asking who trusts whom. hindi dapat iniisip yung mga ganoong bagay, dahil wala pa kaming ginawa to test this 'trust' in whatsoever manner. di bale sana kung magkakasama talaga kami sa iisang bahay, parang sa totoong PBB.

Sana tinanong na lang ni BBK kung kanino ka pinaka-close. Dahil sa totoo lang, yung ang naging basehan ko sa pagsagot sa mga choices na binigay sa akin. nahirapan pa ako kay Charles at Ron dahil unfortunately, hindi ko pa sila nakaka-chat nang masinsinan. pangit kasi yung isipin na yung mga hindi napili are the ones i dont 'trust'.

Sandali lang, pare-pareho ba kami ng choices? para kasing nag-round robin pa si BBK eh, sana pinarank na lang niya, para hindi na siya nahirapan.

Heheh, bakit di ko sali bbk sa choices. wanna enjoy the game pa naman. it was easy for me answering, real easy!!! i have read the ym confe transcripts. i did not expect that ron would remark about "the" boring game in their confe ni bbk. making lullaby err alibi for his being inactive. the last time i had chat with him, he even asked how he could apply with the research job company i'm working with right now. having known and read in her blog that he was trying luck in manila, i gave him the procedures. i did not think he was joking.

Actually this post more than a week overdue as far as the topic is concerned. Pero naalala ko lang ulit kanina.

If you'd notice on my left panel, I indicated that the usual first impressions on me are snob, intimidating, etc. Hehe. Well, because there's a little truth to it. I am one sort of a snob in person. Never in my dreams will I be voted as Mr. Congeniality. It's because I've never been the chummy type who says 'hello' all the time. Kung hindi tayo close, well, edi hindi, walang problema sa akin! Haha! Because I HATE people who are PHILCOA - PHILing ClOse Agad, nyak nyak! Seriously, I am annoyed by these people. Why? I am not sure. Maybe it's because I also hate people who pretend more than what they really are. So there, hehe.

That's why I find it ironic when my friends in Friendster often write me testimonial saying that I am a very friendly person. Haha! Sabi pa nga ng isa, "nakaksundo niya lahat ng tao."

Well, in my own way, I guess I am friendly. But only when we are ACTUALLY friends! You see, I am only a snob to people who don't know me. As for those who are mere acquaintances, well, whenever I see them, I do acknowledge them by throwing them a smile or a 'hi'.

The main reason why I am judged as a snob is because I don't easily warm up to people. I'd rather keep quiet than say something stupid, hehe. Plus, I am a sarcastic person. I thrive on it, haha! I tend to use something sarcastic and make it humorous. That's why application processes in my org are always interesting for me. I'm one of the members that the young innocent apps would stay away from when it comes to asking signatures for their sigsheet, haha! Almost always, they are intimidated. Why? Haha! I honestly don't know. Because for starters, I may not warm up to them, but I don't terrorize them either. I'm just being me -- quiet and observant. Wala pa akong ginagawa sa lagay na yun ha, pero natatakot na sila sa akin, paano pa kay akung mag-taray pa talaga ako? Haha!

But the trick to getting through me is, once I warm up to you, ha! Warm up kung warm up! Haha! Because I treat my friends the way I want to be treated. (Sa mga enemies naman, well, ibang usapan na iyun, hehe.)

I always ask the applicants their first impression of me. And as expected, 'snobbish' and 'intimidating' are high up on the charts. It happens with every batch of applicants. That's why I admire those few who manage to approach me early on. Nakakatawa kasi, kinakabahan sila lagi, haha! Pero pagtakapos noon, okay na, hindi na sila nahihiya sa akin.

So do I care if people see me as a snob? Not really. Because like I said, these people aren't close to me, their opinion does not matter most of the time. Besides, I confident that people who really know me know better. And it's their opinion of me that matter. Besides, I have been trying to get rid of this snobbish aura since elementary and I haven't been successful so far! Haha! I might as well let it be. Because at the end of the day, wala naman akong ginagawang masama. As long as I don't offend anybody, there should be no problem.

So why am I pondering on this anyway? Ano ba ang nangyari recently?
Well, we have this applicant and as always, I asked for her first impression of me. What she said wasn't so nice but it was the funniest and most interesting first impression I have had in my entire life!

Sabi niya, "Para po kayong dictator of power..." Bwahaha! O diba? What she meant by that I am not really sure, hehe.

I must not forget to thank the 2 people who opted to 'save' me in this game. Wala lang, mathematically speaking, i dont think it would matter, because like another VH has said, the main thrust of a nomination process has been a sham more often than not. Easygoing Girl and El Gimikero are evicted

Receiving +7 points each, Jamila, the 25-year-old VH from Sta. Mesa and Jinelle, the 19-year-old stud from Pasig City are evicted from the virtual house.

Jamila collected 60% of the total evicting points in the 6th Nomination plus +2 penalty points for failure to complete last week's activity. Although Jinelle got a net point of zero (one +2 evicting points and two -1 saving points), he failed to nominate and complete the activity which penalized him with +7 points.

Ann, Rex and Benj received +2 penalty points each.

i didn't know if my nomination is the one invalidated by BBK. i had no idea if it was a suicide to be honest because I just thought my co-VH will think about evicting me having had never talked to them in the past two weeks, and i should punish myself for that. the decision was not crazy at all. it was gee and jin lang naka-chat ko pero sa-sandali pa. i never felt deserving enough after but anyway, i had already done it.

i never thought that it was here inside the virtual house would i learn some wonders of blogging. nung dati, hindi ko alam kung paano maglagay ng pics sa blog...then there was gee, na nag-tutor sa akin!

ngayon naman, after having seen a funny video in her blog, another idea came to my mind. alam ko na rin kung paano maglagay ng video. i used to be not a blog person coz i found it awkward to share my thoughts with other people. but then that was before!
