Charles blogs: Mall of World (sic)

Last friday, we had our send-off program for students who will take their practicum off-campus, meaning those who will not teach at the Laboratory School. It was done in the HRD Auditorium, and we had a lot of problems. The biggest was that the Division of Las Pinas declined to open any school for the internship! So that means that about 75 stduents were transferred in various school in various divisions, most of them went to Pasay South High School! Kawawa naman ang mga kaibigan ko!

So anyway, fastforward na sa pag-uwi, during the ride going to Baclaran, my schoolmate Mirasol made a comment on the jeepney about SM Mall of Asia, since we are already in EDSA Extension and it was sobrang traffic! She said: "Bakit Mall of Asia ang pangalan ng mall eh, globo (referring to the globe replica of Universal Records) naman ang nasa harap ng mall! Dapat "Mall of World" ang pangalan." Of course, we laugh at her innocent comment, not intending to be a joke or anything, but it is hilarious. Even the other people who were with us at the jeepney laugh at her comment! That was so funny moment!
